Terms of Service

1. Who we are

HireSignal helps job seekers find a best-effort hiring manager or closest employee for a job, unlock contact details, and generate outreach drafts that you edit and copy yourself. The marketing site is https://hiresignal.careers. The app is at https://app.hiresignal.careers. These Terms cover both. By using HireSignal, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use HireSignal. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts

Accounts use email and password. Authentication and the database are handled by Supabase. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.

4. The service

HireSignal looks up public company and job information and work email addresses through third-party providers (including Hunter and Firecrawl). Results are best effort. They may be empty, incomplete, or wrong. We do not promise accuracy.

Outreach drafts are generated with an LLM from Anthropic, using the job and information you provide (for example resume or job description text). You may edit drafts before using them.

HireSignal never auto-sends messages. You copy drafts and send them yourself. You are responsible for what you send and for complying with applicable laws and the recipient's preferences. Do not use HireSignal to spam or harass anyone.

5. Plans and billing

Plans are Free ($0), Pro ($29/month), and Max ($59/month). Plan limits are the ones shown on the pricing page; we do not restate them here. Payments are processed by Stripe. HireSignal does not store full card numbers.

You can cancel any time. Access continues through the end of the current paid period. There are no refunds for partial months.

6. Acceptable use

Use HireSignal only for lawful job-seeking outreach. Do not abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it beyond normal use, reverse-engineer it, or use it to send spam, harassment, or deceptive messages. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the service or other people.

7. No warranty

HireSignal is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that contact lookups, drafts, or any other feature will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HireSignal is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using HireSignal at any time and cancel a paid plan as described above. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, or violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including no warranty, limitation of liability, and acceptable use) will survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of HireSignal after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
