Privacy Policy

1. Overview

HireSignal helps job seekers find a best-effort hiring manager or closest employee for a job, unlock contact details, and generate outreach drafts that you edit and copy yourself. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it for the site at https://hiresignal.careers and the app at https://app.hiresignal.careers.

2. What we collect

• Account: email and password (auth handled by Supabase).
• Payment: handled by Stripe. HireSignal does not store full card numbers.
• Job and contact lookups: job URLs or text you submit, and public company or contact information returned by our lookup providers.
• Resume and job description text: text you provide so we can personalize drafts (for example resume and JD grounded personalization).
• Drafts: outreach drafts generated for you and any edits you make in the app.
• Usage and hosting logs: basic technical logs from operating and hosting the service (for example request and error logs on Vercel).

Earlier waitlist signups on the landing page were stored with Supabase and Resend. The current landing page does not collect email for a waitlist.

3. Why we collect it

We use this information to create and secure your account, process subscriptions, look up public job and contact information, generate drafts from the job and the text you provide, operate and improve the product, and communicate with you about your account. HireSignal never auto-sends messages; you copy drafts and send them yourself.

4. Processors we use

We rely on third-party processors to run HireSignal:

• Supabase — auth and database
• Stripe — payments
• Hunter and Firecrawl — public company, job, and work-email lookups (best effort; results may be empty or wrong)
• Anthropic — LLM draft generation
• Vercel — hosting
• Resend — used for earlier waitlist-related email handling

5. We do not sell personal data

HireSignal does not sell your personal data. We share information with the processors above only as needed to provide the service.

6. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at oelbarmawi@gmail.com. We will delete or anonymize your account data as reasonably practical, except where we must keep limited records (for example billing history held by Stripe).

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
